This trip partners with TECHO to build homes alongside local volunteers and the families receiving the homes. TECHO works in 19 Latin American countries and has built over 100,000 transitional housing units as a starting block for communities to become self-sufficient. The trip will spend two days assembling homes, sharing meals and conclude with a key giving ceremony, welcoming the family into their new homes. After home construction, this journey will travel to Isla de Tierra Bomba, where time is spent participating in workshops and shared meals with fellow travelers.
This trip takes place May 25-30, 2018, and the cost is $1750.
