USA: A Right Denied

Four million American children—mostly low-income children of color—go to a school that has been identified as failing for six consecutive years. 54% of African-American and 50% of Latino 4th graders are functionally illiterate—they cannot read a simple children’s story. A Right Denied explores the achievement gap between minority students and their white peers, and presents us with a way to improve this broken education system.
