SOUTH AFRICA: Teach Computer Skills in Rural Areas

This South African school project takes volunteers just outside Chintsa Beach where they will help students improve their computer literacy skills, as well as helping with a variety of other community initiatives. Volunteers will teach students from basic computer skills to navigating through Windows applications, and using programs such as Word Processor.  Volunteers will also have a chance to lend a hand to organize sports programs within the local schools, including cleaning up or improving the schools’ facilities and playgrounds aesthetic qualities, and other community initiatives. The min length for this trip is 4 weeks for $2245 per person, with a max stay of up to 12 weeks for $5135.
