This trip gives you the opportunity to travel to Ghana and experience local culture and landscapes. The program works with a local grass roots organization that seeks to help fellow Ghanians improve conditions through education and other integrated rural development programs. The mission is to assist rural and urban dwellers in times of natural or man—made disasters by positively impacting education, health, environment, empowerment of women, and cultural diversity programs. Most of the time on the trip will be spent in small rural communities near Ho. Some other activities include exploring the famous Kente weaving village, visiting the tallest mountain in Ghana, and seeing the largest waterfall in West Africa. The duration of the trip is 8 days.
